Privacy Notice
This notice covers two groups of people: analysts who are listed in the directory, and people who visit the site. It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP).
Who is responsible
The directory is run by Coniunctio AI, which is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact for anything in this notice: claims@findajungiananalyst.com.
Analysts listed in the directory
What we hold
For each listed analyst: name; credential (certified analyst or analyst in training); society and institute; city, region and country; website address; languages; whether you work online; session fees, only if you publish them; any low-fee scheme you take part in; the web addresses these details came from and when we read them; the date the listing was last checked; and whether you have claimed it.
We do not hold or publish your email address, phone number, street address or photograph unless you add them yourself by claiming your listing.
Where it comes from
Only from places where you or your professional body have already made it public: the IAAP public member search (where its terms allow reuse), the rosters of IAAP member societies and institutes, and your own website. Each listing names its sources.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
We publish these details so that people looking for a certified Jungian analyst can find one, check the credential and see how to get in touch. The legal basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR and the UK GDPR; in Switzerland, an overriding private interest under the nFADP.
We have weighed this against your interests in a written legitimate interests assessment. In short: we only republish professional details that you or your society already publish for the same purpose, keep the fields to a minimum, show sources and dates, and remove listings on request. You can ask us for a copy of the assessment.
We do not process health or other special category data about listed analysts, and we never sell or rent listing data.
Telling you directly (Article 14)
If you practise in the EU, the UK or Switzerland, we write to you within one month of first listing you, at the contact address you publish, to tell you what we hold, where it came from and how to change or remove it. The same message invites you to claim your listing.
Your rights
You can at any time:
- ask what we hold about you (access);
- have anything inaccurate corrected (rectification);
- object to being listed, in which case we remove the listing within 48 hours without asking for a reason (objection and erasure);
- ask us to limit what we do with your details while a question is resolved (restriction);
- complain to a supervisory authority: the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, the data protection authority in your EU country, or the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner in Switzerland.
Use claim or correct a listing or remove a listing, or email claims@findajungiananalyst.com.
How long we keep it
A listing stays while we can keep verifying it. If a listing cannot be re-verified for 12 months, it is hidden from search engines; after 18 months it is deleted. If you ask to be removed, we keep only your name, the date and any reason you gave on a suppression list, so that you are not listed again.
Visitors to the site
No cookies
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, so there is no cookie banner.
Analytics
We use PostHog to count page views and clicks on a small number of links: an analyst's website, the claim and removal links, and the labelled Coniunctio AI box. It is set to keep its identifiers in memory only, so nothing is written to your device and you are not recognised from one visit to the next. PostHog receives your IP address with each request and may use it to estimate your country; we do not use analytics to identify anyone. PostHog stores this data in the United States, under the standard contractual clauses in its data processing agreement. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the directory is used.
Server logs
The web server records standard request details (IP address, page requested, browser type and time) to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept for a short period and then deleted. The site is hosted on a server in the European Union.
Emails you send us
If you email claims@findajungiananalyst.com, we use your message and address to handle your request, and keep them as a record of what was changed and why. Incoming mail is received by Cloudflare Email Routing and forwarded to our inbox.
Other sites
Analysts' websites and coniunctioai.com have their own privacy policies.
Who else handles data
